Ecology and Training


Jake, The Remote Sensing Company’s Director, is an experienced professional Consultant Ecologist. He is a Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (MCIEEM) and the Royal Society of Biology (MRSB).



Jake holds Natural England survey licences for great crested newts, bats and hedgehogs and is currently able to offer a range of ecology services including:

  • Habitat (Phase 1 and Phase 2 NVC) and protected species surveys
  • CS38 NPTC-certified tree climbing
  • Mitigation design and implementation
  • Habitat management plans
  • eDNA surveys
